Man, you put some real effort into that.
I knocked it out over like 15 minutes while eating lunch.

Ah. So it was Morelet's Crocodile. Also known as the Mexican Crocodile. A bit on the runty side for crocodiles but they are capable of killing a person. They are fairly shy though.
Well. Not as glamorous to be honest.
Instead of a rare and endangered species you were mauled by a "least concern" species that is doing quite well. They've been spotted in the Rio Grande recently so some may be coming to a Texas pond near you.
The good news is that a nice drive and a good hunting rifle means you can sit on the banks of the Rio Grande and pick a few of them off for revenge!
Side note: I do need to read more Grisham. I got out of reading him a while back but he usually turns out a good story.

He actually got diabetes eating at The Chocolate Crocodile in Huntsville Alabama, and they had to cut his legs off.

Well, that's about 14 more minutes of effort than most Rantards.

You'd have to wheel me out of that place on a gurney I fear.
I've only briefly visited Huntsville but I hear a lot of good things about it. How is it?

I swear — between your prose, Arksulli's historical knowledge, pio's regional serial killer theories, the renowned Faulkner-esque style of MercerBears, Mr. Grits' culinary nuances of the Great Depression, theCAW's far-reaching conspiracies, and combined similar unique contributions of many more here, the SEC OT could write one hell of a Southern Gothic novel.

There once was a shyster from Ark
doublebilled a drug lord on a lark
tired of hearing his bile
fed him to crocodiles
and now rolls to court in a cart.

I have a strong sense those on the SEC OT have actually lived it!
Fall is the time for good possum!
PS, coon fat is good but groundhog fat is greasier if that is your palate wheel.

I specifically told the cartel that Harry was NOT to be harmed

I haven't lived in North Alabama in over 20 years. I only go to that area to visit family. Like most areas, it really depends on what part you go to. It's grown so much over the past 20 years it's kind of crazy when I visit.
I personally hate driving in that city and the extreme growth doesn't seem to be helping from my visits in the past few years.
