BS its a huge sell for the vast majority of players in a "developmental league"

ENDORSEMENTS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING WITH A SALARY OFFERED BY THE TEAMS.

This is your original statememts.

They could make players instant millionaires. I know many players who would forgo college to make 500K to 1.5 million per year for 3 years to play football

You said nothing about 500k to $1.5 being "endorsement money"and even stated per year.

You also stated they'd get guaranteed contracts and I can't find this anywhere.

There is no guarantee of any endorsement money, although a guy like Trevor Lawrence could get a healthy Adidas contract.

The average salary will be around $50k, so most players will earn less than that, and have to relocate to Los Angeles, where all 4 teams are based, and where there is absoloutely ZERO market for this product.

This is Ed McCaffrey and some agent getting kids to come to a football camp where they'll be required to sign with Yee's agency, hoping they'll hit a few homeruns and the other 196 players will be jobless with no education and nothing but some shitty housing project in NBR to return to.

I'm all for letting a kid play for money instead of in college (if there's anyone willing to pay), but the Pacific League is just a way for Yee to take advantage of a bunch of kids and give them literally nothing in return. Maybe one of the other leagues will get it right.

Agree not a hard sell for a lot of players

BUT

Fan support is what makes leagues profitable. Like another poster said why would watch or go to the games.. college football has fans becuase of the schools, the traditions, and etc.

Where are most people going to spend their discretional money? You think they'regoing to quick going to their favorite college games and support these teams that they have no affiliation with? I would not and I bet 95% agree with me.

This league will fail due to lack of fan support.

Those were pretty much the points I was making. The OP pulled the 500K to 1.5 million figure out of thin air.
Sure,Lawrence could get something but nobody else would
come close.

Average of 50k is dubious as well. Players make almost half that amount on stipends alone.

Correct and Yee is fanatical about his disdain for CFB and it's "exploitation" of athletes. This will fall flat on its face.

Obviously, this is going to hurt CFB which in turn hurts me as a fan

No, it's not.

No one is going to watch what is essentially CFB with paid athletes. This is the XFL with basically kids who haven't been developed beyond the high school level.

It'll crash and burn immediately, no way it gets beyond 3 years and fricks over a ton of young athletes who should have 100% stayed in school.

Imagine the risk of breaking something and literally having no way to go back to the college you were at. I hope kids aren't this stupid. That's why basketball can sort of get away with it. There are a few injuries a year in basketball that are pretty gruesome/career ending. In football? Yeesh. This is such a dumb idea.

Let's look at a different angle. The 5 stars and upper 4 stars won't all bolt for that. The lower 4 stars and upper 3 may.

That puts a huge gap between the Bamas and hawgs of the NCAA.

I don't see that logic at all. These guys are going to go where they get the money. Simple as that. CFB will have to pay up or lose their system.
