Who was Johns dad in the first timeline? The one where no terminator was sent back and Skynet got built anyway. Yes yes the first movie is supposed to be a simple loop representing the chicken vs egg argument, Skynet cant exist without terminator chip, john cant exist without reece.
But, don't come at me with that bs. Who was John's dad originally? Wasn't Reece, but had to have been someone not retarded to raise him to be the chosen one of the future

Isn’t the timeline that judgement day is inevitable no matter what happens in future or past. They can only mitigate it. Chip and past travels and future travels don’t stop or start anything because it’s going to happen.

Yeah T3 establishes that it's inevitable. And going off of that, in the original unaltered time line (assuming time operates in a linear manner w/o time travel anyway) judgement day has to have happened without the terminators going back to try and kill people.
Thus, I wanna know who was John's original dad. It can't be Reece as he has to get sent back when the terminator does. And John has to exist otherwise, there's no reason to send someone back to protect his mom.

Terminator is fiction. In fiction, anything works so Reece can and is the father. However, if you want a different answer, it's either some patron she served and hooked up with from the diner or someone she hooked up without after nuclear fallout. Some badass soldier.
