One of my roommates stole a check from my checkbook. He then wrote a $400 check to some chick named Valena -------. I had turned in my rent yesterday and checked this morning to see that it had been deducted, imagine my surprise to see another $400 missing! 
Spent the day putting a stop payment on the check, calling the police and filing a report, canceling my checking account, and being thoroughly pissed at a guy who owes me $350 already trying to steal from me. frick that guy.
Lesson Learned: Lock your doors and get a lockbox, and believe your roommates to be scum until proven otherwise.
I sincerely hope that everyone had a better Saturday than I did.

Off, over winter I moved to a nice rent house close to the beach (a ten minute jog) and I have 2 roommates. It was going fine until today. I'm hoping the old lady I rent from will kick him out. Just so mad, betrayed, violated... ugh, where's a damn dragon when you need to singe a few hairs?

Probably not. The old lady we rent from is a no nonsense gal. It really pisses me off that this snake went into my room, searched my stuff and tore out a check from the middle hoping I wouldn't notice. So mad.

Oddly well. She's normally a lightweight. I guess its all the bread and pasta. Still the best Italian in the city, IMO.
