Because its unbelievable that anything could ever come close to Charleston. It's the soup they swim in. There's no denying how snooty they are. Your turn cock boy.
I'm neither a Charleston nor SC native. I've lived a few places, though, and Charleston is vastly superior to all of them.
FWIW, the snootiest place I ever lived was in Buckhead.

Buckhead is far superior to the suburbs.

I live here and I disagree.

well you are biased then.
Considering that I've lived in a ton of different places, not really.

Atlanta is your self proclaimed home at the moment. We are psychologically tuned to defend our "home" and to want it to be the best. The roots of nationalism and all that jazz.

Negative. I like it here. No need to defend it. Just telling the truth.
If I were living in Alabama or Mississippi or something like that, I definitely would not defend it.

I like Atlanta- it's the only "real" city in the Southeast; it has great infrastructure and has just about anything you can possibly want in a city. It's no San Francisco, New York, or Chicago, it's just a typical large American city.

You would if you called those places home. It isn't choice, it is basic human psychology.
I just don't like atlanta, wouldn't live there if given the choice. I do like Chicago though.

Plenty of people who live in those two states, but aren't from there, criticize them constantly. You see it on this very board all the time.

That's your opinion. That doesn't mean that everyone shares it.

It has the worst of any major city I've ever been to. ATL is a monument to inept city planning.

I'll criticize Alabama, and support others criticizing Alabama, as long as the criticism is well-informed and reasonable. Saying Alabama is just an entirely trashy state full of trailer parks is just untrue. However, one could rightfully criticize Alabama politics, management, ect. and I do that often myself. I'll defend my home state if you're doing nothing but making misinformed insults, but to say I'll always stick up for my state is completely false

never said anyone shared my opinion. They should, but I can only show people the light, not make them walk towards it.
Living somewhere and calling it home are two different things. You have Atlanta memorialized in your sig or whatever, so it seems to me "your heart belongs in atlanta" for lack of a better phrase.
And bird, in the end you fight for alabama. I don't want to get into an argument about the psychological aspect of this. It is a psychological law though. and a pretty obvious one if you think about different peoples throughout history.

You haven't been to LA then
L.A. and Houston might be worse, but Atlanta's public transportation and traffic control are fricking abysmal. There is a stretch of extremely busy road half a mile from my apartment where they have 3 traffic lights within ~250 yards of each other and there is never a time when all 3 are red or green.

I meant more than just transportation FWIW. I meant things like hospitals, schools (not great, but not terrible compared to other cities), Universities (two great schools- Emory and Tech; and several good ones- Georgia State being one), and things like that

You're fricking retarded. I didn't even make my sig or provide the images for it.
