So, is it being a grumpy Boomer to say that young people don't listen?

Because young people don't fricking listen. And I'm not a Boomer.
They refuse to obtain and/or cultivate logic skills, and they believe that's easily compensated by rolling their eyes.
And God forbid if it's a young woman you're dealing with, because then you're "mansplaining"

As someone that is classified as a “young person” I couldn’t agree with you more. The issue is most of this young generation is full of themselves and think they already know everything there is to know about life. I was somewhat like that until I graduated and the real world hit me like Mike Tyson.
Also, I am pretty sure the same was said about my parents generation as well.

I agree with you 80% my brother
If your parents, however, were dealing with the proverbial Jerry Seinfeld's parents, though, and George's parents, then I side with your parents. Alot of that old generation is/was ridiculous, as Jerry Seinfeld himself made bank by making fun of them on his show.
The problem today is that corporate America loves to hire the current day 22 year old borderline Communist nose-in phone robots.
I would love like hell to see one of them walk up on a copperhead and see their reaction

So my parents are in their late 50s/early 60’s. Guess I was mainly talking about the late 20’s and early 30’s. That’s where all this commie progressive bs started anyways. Thanks starbucks you enabled white bitches everywhere

if the grid ever does fail, I'm going to enjoy watching little pussies running around screaming their heads off because they won't be able to read their phones and have the internet tell them to become trans

I'm with you. I'm a bit younger than your parents, and I'm siding with your parents against the proverbial Seinfeld parents, who are I guess the really old Boomers.
Then again southern old Boomers usually weren't that way, but still tyrannical in other ways. Face it, many really old Boomers from the south or the north, were racist as shite. But they were better than this young generation of communist corporate robots who hate all of humanity regardless of skin color.
This younger generation would pay good money to watch older people die in snuff films. They would fill up a movie theater watching it. It's fricking second century Rome.

The problem is we let the corporations educate our youth (probably the first such generation in human history) instead of our families and local communities.

Anyone older than my dad (in my family) is racist to the point that they could care less for sports now days

Bingo. It’s really funny how progressiveism is about to set this country back a few hundred years culturally.

No joke my youngest sister (frick you no pics) had a boyfriend that didn’t know the difference between a flat and phillips head. He wasn’t allowed over again.

My teenagers won't listen to any advise. I remember that age and I did exact6 opposite what my parents wanted so I guess it's payback.

It's not just this generation. I thought I had it all figured out when I was young too. One of my favorite quotes ever...

Almost every young hvac tech we get that comes in from ranken of all fricking places has no idea what they’re doing.
My boss who is also an instructor there says 99percent literally do not listen nor do they care. Their faces are in their phone while he is actively explaining their fricking future to them. All while they just spent 17 grand to be there, or their parents did.

That's the biggest problem we face with guys that we hire under 30. They seem to just want to collect a paycheck for now and not worry about learning to get ahead for the future.

Yes. You're out of touch, old man.
