So I’m waiting to get my boobs squished...

And this just happened- at Baptist breast center in LR which is in a pretty large complex with other types of doctors etc. Given Covid, you have to check in downstairs and they take your temp ask questions etc. and require a mask.
Some dbag was in line in front of me checking in and refused and got sassy about wearing a mask. I understand the varying opinions on masks but in a medical clinic how much of a jackass do you have to be to do that? I’m certain there are folks here with cancer or recovering from cancer as well as folks with other medical issues. If (my current cancer patient) mom had been here I would have pulled an imaginary shank from my purse and taken him out.

I’m at the dentist office, sitting (20 minutes now) in my car waiting for a hygienist come walk out to the parking lot to take my temp and give me a mask before I enter the building. In this 20 minutes, I’d say half the patients have left altogether. Lol

how are people so crazy not to know it’s going to happen at any medical place? Btw- they’re spectacular inside and out. Until next year...

My dad has stage 4 lung cancer that has spread so I wear my mask everywhere.

I went to my first Dr. appointment last week since this started. Guy stopped me at the door, asked me to put on a mask, which I was carrying, but wasn't going to wear unless they required it.
He took my temp, then asked me a couple of questions and I went on in.
It's not that hard people to simply comply and move on with your lives.

Glad you got a clear bill of health. My wife had breast cancer 17 years ago. She is still going strong.
