This is why I quit Accounting at TAMU after my sophomore year and got a Criminal Justice degree from SHSU. I'll always love Texas A&M and have little allegiance to Sam, but I have absolutely no regrets over my educational/career choice for this very reason.

ive done it all...and i gotta say working on a construction jobsite w dirt/sun/cooler of beer at the end of the day was pretty damn awesome

I just realized that if I found myself crunching numbers and trying to depreciate assets for taxation purposes at 40 that I would end up hanging myself in my cubicle. It's just not my thing. I need freedom of movement and being a cop allows me that.

Starting Tuesday our department will begin working remotely meaning at home. I'm semi pumped about it.
