No Guinness?
I loved dark beers (Smithwicks, Newcastle, Boddingtons, and others helped me expand beyond the typical megabrew range) but I'm trying to cut down on carbs.

That doesn't mean I'm not drinking as much. That just means I'm avoiding the 10 carb/serving beers like Guiness.

Actually I think it is a 3-in-1.

Really want this to become a reality.

I hate all craft beers - 100% of them taste like fricking Blue Moon

I love Guinness and Miller Lite.

I bought a six pack of those. Once. After the first beer I poured the rest down the sink. I wanted to check and see if there was a dead rat floating in the can.

I can find it where I live. And no, not the terrible Lagunitas rebrand. The actual imported Newcastle. Have to go to Bottles to get it, but I have it locally. It came back and I think is under the umbrella of Heineken.

The Lagunitas recipe was arse. It was their take on it or some shite after bought the rights to it in North America.

I find the OG Newcastle at Fresh Market. You can tell if it the original or Lagunitas swill because the good tasting one in still in the clear bottles with the classic bottle cap.

Happened around 2018 I believe.

Ordered one and was like "oh hell yeah, haven't had a Newcastle in a while," drank it, tasted like dirty mop water, and thought my pallet had changed.

Nope, Lauginitas just decided to frick it up.

Well that's extremely disappointing.
