My point exactly.

Lincoln was a baller.

Not sure if he could handle Cocaine Mitch though. Depends on which side Sherman is on.

I would rail against this...but East Tennessee was Pro-Union and voted heavily against Secession. Ironically enough...they don't have data on how Union County voted.



ETA...Compare to the geographical divisions of Tennessee...and you can see how closely Union/Confederate support followed geology.

Every state had a region or segment of the White population that was pro-union and every Confederate state except SC provided at least one all white volunteer regiment to the Union. On the other side, the Midwest, specifically southern Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois harbored a not insignificant number of Confederate sympathizers. The Civil War was a mess.

Mississippi provided 1 Battalion, which is half, or less, than a Regiment.
