Could you date/marry somebody if their political views were the opposite of yours?
Most people would say it's the person that matters most. But would this become a situation eventually?

If you want to know if the woman you love is the one, I suggest a long trip in a car. Did this across the country with a friend who was mostly opposite in thinking but 3 days out West and back and we are still friends 40 years later. When others see us they think we are fighting but really we are usually on the opposite end of the discussion but we speak and listen. I know lots of women in my past where I would kill them or they would kill me halfway through the first day.

Not opposites, but my wife is more conservative than I am. I’m more of a libertarian that voted Republican and she’s about as conservative Christian as they come. Nothing to argue about or anything like that so it works.
