Are you watching the Lakers game? They have it on ESPN2 right now and I think there may be 50 people there in Orlando tonight. It is pathetic.

Melo is going absolutely off right now. He has 49 in the 3rd and is 20 of 26.

When he decides to play he is a great shooter. But he sometimes seems to be lazy and disinterested.

By the way who do you guys think as a great scorer? Besides LeBron and KD.

ETA:

I consider Curry a great scorer not a great shooter.

Then you dont get the difference between the two.

Mullen, Bird, Alford are great shooters. Curry is not that class of shooter.

You are not getting what I am saying at all. Curry is a scorer he can create and do whatever. The three I listed are just shooters. That is why I said that Curry is a great scorer not a great shooter. A great scorer > great shooter.

He's 8% more accurate than Bird. How is he not a better shooter? That's not an aberration

Completely disagree.

Curry is a helluva shooter.

And a helluva scorer. Up there with the best in any era you stack him against.

Again the 8% does not take into account type of shot, pressure, etc. Right now I dont put Curry into elite class of shooter, people annoit these guys too quickly. Curry had one run in a NCAA tourney and a decent run last playoff year. Give him 3 more runs then he moves up.

Craig Hodges was a shooter probably a lot better than Curry, but we dont consider him great.

The best shooters I have seen

Alford
Dupay
Bird
Mullin
Hodges
Dillard
Brent Price

If I am starting a team and need scoring though I take Curry over all of them, as he can drive and do more off the dribble and play the point.

This is preposterous. He is taking high pressure, low percentage shots on a routine basis.

That sounds like a personal problem you're struggling with. I know for a fact Curry is one of the best shooters the league has seen to date.

Preposterous? You are taking a total career that lasted 10 plus to a career of 3 years?

It isnt personal, because I do not agree with you at this time?

So if Curry goes down next year and never plays again, does he still get that recognition? I say no. I contend he has to have 5 years of that level to be in elite of all time.
