If the pels were in the eastern conference, they would be two losses out of the playoffs. The one and two seed would be third and fifth respectively and no one else would make the playoffs. If the heat and pacers were in the western playoffs, the 8th seed (as of today) would have 27 losses (tie between Portland and gsw).

Also, here are what there records would be if they played in the west:
Pacers current record- 17-10; over 71 games that's 42-29
Heat current record- 20-15; over 69 games that's 40-29
So even if they were in the west, they would be tied with the mavs and the suns for 8th.

Just some other notes for notable western conference teams:
If these teams were in the east, here's what their record would be.
Current record 23-6 spurs 52-18
Current record 19-9 Memphis 45-25
Current record19-11 no 41-29
Current record 12-17 lakers 21-49

I thought you had a night job Tbird. Aren't you tired?

Exhausted.

Lying in bed right now, but I honestly don't sleep very long. Usually hit the gym right after work, and then have honey-dos or grocery shopping to take care of, and by the time I get home it takes me awhile to wind down.

Looks like the full roster is a go tonight vs the Nuggets. Here is a good read about the JJ's picking up things from the junk yard.

I find this a very good sign. The leading minute/game fuy for the JJ's is Frenchy at 30.3/game but he ranks 91'st in that stat for the league. The JJ's will be rested and ready to to be the BestintheWest and win a Larry Trophy.
Another decent stat pointing to JJ's favor
Mills is 3rd in league with .8/per 48 the highest Spur is Many with 4.1/per 48 and Frenchy is at 3.8/per 48. The rockets have Harden and Howard both at 4.6/per 48.
Playoffs you can not turn ball over.

And in that category, he has been dropping of late, actually. He ranked 87th in that stat a little over a week ago iirc.

Good list. I particularly remember Speedy Claxton doing yeoman duty in the 2003 Finals with Parker struggling. Good times.

Grizz are finally on ESPN tonight
Against the Jazz.
They refuse to show any of our actually good match ups on their network.

Same with us, and no, "quality" easy teams don't count

We played Miami and Indiana earlier Friday and Saturday. We play Golden State and Portland later this week. They pick our game against the Jazz.
