Games 1 and 3. Game 1 was a 15 pt lead in the late 3rd/early 4th. And game 3 was a 10 pt lead in the 3rd. Then peja and terry went a combined 20/21 from the 3 in game 4

Hey maybe when they eventually add 2 more expansion teams they will move the Grizzlies to the East

They could stand to get rid of 2

They will probably just move the Bucks to Vegas or Seattle

Seattle's a great city. They deserve an NBA team.

Agreed. I also think the NBA wouldn't mind moving a team to Vegas.

Well, I was actually referring to y'all geographically being the most eastern WC team, but likewise on that front

I think this is an interesting stat, there are only 9 matchups in the history of the NBA finals that have taken place at least twice, and of those 9, only 5 have taken place more than twice

Boston and LA at 12
Philly and LA at 6
NY and LA at 5
Boston and Atlanta (then St. Louis) at 4
Detroit and LA at 3
Washington and Seattle at 2
Boston and Houston at 2
Chicago and Utah at 2
Miami and Dallas at 2

It is more do to with being in the same division with them, Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans. Our division record is like 2-11

At least the Spurs and Dallas both have aging stars. Then Houston had to go get James Harden and Dwight and New Orleans drafted Anthony Davis, who is already giving us fits.

off the top of my head I can only think of
Lakers/Celtics
Lakers/Pistons
Bulls/Jazz

And this I can only think of Lakers/Celtics

I feel ashamed right now.

eta: I know I'm missing a lot of the early 60s-70s finals

Well the thing is, a lot of these also come from when the league only had 10/12 teams. Like we haven't played the Knicks in a final since 73, and Boston played all of their finals against the hawks in like the 60s

Hey I'd be cloning our entire 87 team if I could. That or the 01 team that showed up in the playoffs
