I haven't been keeping up with this thread like I should, but what do you think we're looking at with the Lakers going forward?

Didn't you say you read some Laker's boards?

we are in full tank mode this year. We are getting a top 5 pick and I want embiid but I've heard chatter about that ausie kid who dominated the most recent nike camp. We are expected to make a run for both kyrie Irving and Kevin love within the next two years and durant in 2016.

Our (hopeful) 2016 opening night starting lineup will look like

Kyrie
Kobe
Wes
Love
Embiid

Yeah, did you read the Mitch Kupchak interview a while back where they all asked him if "tanking" was a real strategy?

I think Embiid is a stud. The Australian kid is the 6'6" PG that everyone's drooling over right?

If that's the case are we basically throwing in the towel on next year too? I can't fricking handle that.

I do to. I think he's the best player in the draft. Want him so bad

yea. Dante exum. The LA times wrote an article about him a day or two ago but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet

next year might be a rough one, but I would much rather go this route than the quick fix of Stevenson or bledsoe and melo this offseason

Oh yes. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK that. No Melo. Never. Don't do it.

I just can't handle watching my Lakers lose. It is so fricking weird.

I've seen them play in New Orleans and Memphis but have never been to Staples.

I just started working about a year and a half ago and making the trip to LA is on the top of my vacation lists as an adult.

I've been to nearly every other part of the country but Cali.

My mom's supposed to be in El Segundo for a couple weeks in March and I have almost talked myself into going. There's literally no reason to do it then but I am using that as an excuse
