Just depends on what formation we go with. With Jozy out, I really don't know.

Jozy out leaves us with quite the conundrum. His hold up play allowing an outlet for the midfield/defense and to set up the offense was and will be sorely missed. My hometown boy Aron needs somebody to play off of. He has decent technical ability but looked lost trying to play Altadore's role. Didn't help playing a very athletic Ghana side.

Perhaps open in a 4231 with Aron on top. Have Dempsey come up in attack to act like a second forward. I don't know, it's tough with our lack of depth at forward.

Should have brought Boyd instead on Wondo.

Is 6 saves suppose to be a lot? Does that mean they only kicks on goal 6 times the whole game? Good lord

It can be. Especially in Ochoa's case. Most of his saves were pretty tough. Those 6 shots are the only ones that required saves, but Brazil had more shots than those 6, they just weren't on frame.

ETA: Brazil actually had 8 shots on goal. 6 were saved by Ochoa, 2 were blocked by defenders.

Curious to see how the Dutch respond after the huge win last Friday. Wouldn't be surprised to see a flat start but them roll out to a two or three goal win by the end of it. The Aussies just aren't that strong.

Then taking Spain to grind out a nice win against Chile. They'll hold possession and pick their moments against a very suspect Chilean back line.

Finally, got the Croats putting themselves square in the race for 2nd with a workman like victory against Camaroon.

Not the sexiest of matches but it beats yesterday.

id love to see the croats win this one and against mexico. it would be greatness to watch the bean pickers fail to advance after managing to tie brazil.

That's what I'm hoping for. Croatia isn't a bad team at all, they just got fricked over being the 1st game against the host country. They could easily get those six points and knock Mexico out.

Brazil is going to get 7 points despite their best efforts. I just hope croatia can beat the beans. I have a feeling the beans are going to hunker down vs croatia knowing they only need a tie to advance thanks to brazil acting like shite heads yesterday.

I'd probably play the counter game as Mexico. The Croats will be desperate and attacked minded. Like you say, sit back and try to catch them too far forward on the counter.

Holland has been making the best runs but doing more of a counter attack. Aussie has been keeping more pressure up.

Fun match to watch
