Portugal has more flashy striker in Cristiano Ronaldo but I always like Germany as a team. Germany always over-achieve and I believe they're the second most successful team in World Cup all time behind Brazil. Germany at least made quarter finals in all World Cup appearances except once.

You can tell that Portugal has maybe two great players (maybe even one) but Germany works as a team. Their possession skills have been impressive.

Somebody fill me in.....is the flopping always this bad? Seems constant and really distracts from the game....not to mention is some seriously pussy shite. I know its always happened but has it gotten worse? Are there fines or penalties for flopping? World Cup noob here.

Yes there are, but it's very rare and it has to be blatant. Diving is just part of the game.

I haven't seen any worse flopping this year than WC's past. A player can get a yellow card if it's blatant, but I can't recall seeing that done in any of the recent World Cups. It's an annoying part of the game, and it is a distraction, but it'll probably always be part of the game.
