Typically, teams are nervous in their first games and just don't want to lose. You usually see teams go very defensive minded early in the tournament. It's usually the second and third games in the group stage where they actually start attacking because they know they need points. It's really a treat to see so much attacking right off the bat. I hope it only gets better.

There was an all La Liga Champions Leauge Final. It's hard to argue against that.

The best players in the English league aren't English, though. So maybe expectations are too high.
