I can see how the ref only gave a yellow, but it shouldn't have been a PK.

Why no PK? He pretty clearly inhibited him potentially scoring, deep in their territory.

Eh, this is one of those times where he should have gotten a PK even if the initial contact was outside of the box. He would have scored if he wasn't inhibited, and a red card should have been awarded.
I feel like he awarded the PK to avoid giving the red, but that was as clear cut of a red as I've ever seen.

It should have been a red and no PK. Even if you give a yellow, that was not a PK.
I think the ref only gave a yellow because he thought the CB was in better position than he actually was.

Eh, I would have probably given the the PK and a red, but I think it was close enough even if he didn't exactly get contact inside the plane.
Also, I think Brazil has some terrible zone coverage. They have no concept of not bunching up.
