I understand why coaches like the Jurg don't want to clear it out and would rather try to maintain possession, but it's almost cost us the round of 16 a couple of times now. SEriously, kick the frick out of the ball, salute it goodbye and prepare for the next wave. Giving it up at the top of our box has almost given me a tumor.

There is nothing wrong with the boot if your team isn't technical enough.

Team Daewoo have had the Jelly-Bellies on their heels for most of the game. Let's hope they can steal a win.

Nothing wrong with any tactic. I'd just rather not play that way. This is a better product on the eyes.

It wasn't during the Portugal game.

In fact, it was rather terrible on the eyes.

The execution has been lacking at times, but I prefer the style of play to hunker and kick away.

I definitely prefer the style -- I just don't think we have the personnel capable of pulling it off right now. Especially in a game where all you're trying to do is draw, and our defenders are getting caught from behind and giving the ball away outside of the penalty area. If we're gonna play defense heavy, we ought to be clearing it with some authority.

Certainly but we aren't winning this WC anyway. Lay the foundation here for bigger and better things net cycle.

Sorry for stating facts.

I think we could have a decent run in us. Beating Belgium would be great for soccer in the USA and build more confidence in the system and in Klinsmann. Just because this is still the investment phase doesn't mean we can't make a little profit.
