watching these conference finals makes me realize how much i miss the lakers playing in them. its hard to stomach 3 years without being in the finals but 3 years since a conference final is killer

its funny how stereotypes permeate into sports. im watching game 7 of the 2010 finals while im waiting for the new season arrested development to come out and straight from mike breen "kobe looks to lead and score for the lakes to repeat as champions....while boston hopes to get one more gritty performance". the 2010 lakers played a very similar style of ball to the 2010 celtics yet people still viewed them as a flashy team led by an elite scorer whereas boston would win through grit, tough work, and determination.
