There may be no state income tax, but California doesn't have a property tax. So it equals out. I agree that the rockets have a good young core and the expectations will be lower. If he doesn't end up in LA, my money is on Houston

LA will be able to offer more cash than Houston can offer, unless there's a sign-and-trade.

Absent the sign-and-trade, this erases any tax advantages that Texas would have to offer.

I'm excited at the prospect of Dwight coming to Houston but I question how McHale would fit him in our system.
