its funny watching these finals from the 80s and just looking at how ancient that style of play is and how that sytle of play lasted so long. really makes you think about how far the game has come the past 7 years or so
and ive said it before and ill say it again. magic was sooooo far ahead of his time that we are just NOW finally starting to see similar type of players. he was damn near 30 years ahead of his time

24 hours from now the biggest basketball game of the year will have started. I can't wait

Good example. And IMO if the spurs win tomorrow the Heat still has a chance since 6 and 7 are in Miami, but if the Heat win tomorrow then the series is over.

what do you think about a dwight sign and trade for bledsoe and griffin?

Yup. Game 5 winner of a 2-2 series has gone on to win 20 out of 27 times. Not to say either team isn't good enough to buck that trend should they lose game 5, but highly unlikely in the Spurs' case.
Of course, in SA's case, it was highly unlikely that they'd even make the finals according to most outside the River City, so what do we really know?

All I know is I gots mah

How do you think I feel?
Most nervous I've ever been for a Spurs game was game 7 of the '05 Finals against the Pistons. Stomach was in knots the whole damn day

see my question in my post above ^

i dont like what that would do to our front court. i would like bringing in griffin and bledsoe but not at the expense of sliding pau to the 5. i personally wouldnt make the trade happen, but i wouldnt be pissed if it happens. i can see where it improves the team, but i just really dont like pau gasol playing the 5. even if that allows him to play more down low in the post. every time weve tried to roll out pau at the 5, he gets killed

This was my first thoughts as well. I flashback to all those times Bynum was hurt and Pau was forced to play the 5 a lot more often.
On the other hand I REALLY like Bledsoe's talent. I think he would be the bigger piece than Griffin long term. And Griffin is a big guy who can get you 20 and 10 every night even though his toughness is questioned a lot.
I think for me personally, I like the trade just because I'm tired of Dwight. But I wouldn't be upset if they decided this wasn't a good enough trade.

If this thing goes 7 imma be no good to anybody the day before the game

i agree with that. bledsoe would be the bigger piece. like i said, id welcome it if it happens but i wouldnt go out and make it happen. but if we are for sure going to lose dwight, which i dont think we are, than that is something we can look at
