I was hoping he'd bust a triple last night

I'm disgusted with the nets hiring Jason Kidd. Total publicity stunt.

You got it. I think it totally pisses on the momentum they built this year. Te guy just retired

It's basically to appease Williams too because they are such good friends. An awful awful move by Prokhorov and co.
ETA: Makes it worse that they passed on Brian Shaw who was groomed by Phil Jackson to basically be the next head coach of the Lakers after Phil retired.

quote:Forgot about this. They were on their way up too. No hate on Jason Kidd but I think this hurts the organization in a big way. If they'd have taken a guy like Shaw they continue to get better and continue to compete

I really hope he finds a home with one of the many teams that needs a coach right now. There are some good playoff teams that he could go to. I'd love him with the Lakers but as we know that is highly doubtful.

See I think that's the problem. I think Jim is like power hungry and wants to separate himself from Phil as much as possible so when the Lakers win he can be like "OH HEY YOU GUYZ I PUT THIS TOGETHER ALL MYSELF!1!!!11". Unfortunately Shaw gets punished for it.
