I've read so much analysis from Game 1 and semi re-watched the game when it came up on NBA TV.

Definitely killing my bar review time.

Hard to really gather any trend's from that game outside of the fact that it doesn't seem like the Heat have anyone that can guard the Spur's bigs. Didn't Splitter end up with like 15 points? Timmy shot 90% and Diaw had some ridiculous +/- number.

I don't expect the Spurs to be so sloppy with the ball again. Guarding LeBron seemed to ruin Kawhi's offensive game.

And you obviously can't expect LeBron to be such a non factor down the stretch again.

The only problem with the videos is they do a great job of making you think a guy is awesome then completely wrecking him in the "weaknesses" part of the video.

I've been watching their videos of a bunch of guys that are projected to be available around the Grizzlies pick at 22. I get through the "strengths" section thinking we would be so lucky if this guy falls to us, to suddenly getting upset over the idea that they may draft one of the bums.

I think Splitter ended up with 14, but, more importantly, him and Timmy only missed 1 shot each. Their looks were pretty clean when they were able to gather themselves and they always had an open guy in the corner. If the Heat stay with that defensive strategy, then I'd expect the Spurs 3 point shooting numbers to actually go up from the 52% of game 1.

Kawhi is hot/cold offensively. He's not the most consistent scorer, but he'll always give at least a few points. He'll spend a lot of his energy guarding Lebron or Wade, and his teammates can pick up the slack on the offensive end (so long as he takes/makes a few open 3s).

I kind of expect a starting lineup change inserting Bonner or Diaw for Splitter.

Interesting to note that Lebron has only scored above 30 against the Spurs 4 times in the past four seasons/postseasons. 1 regular season game in 2012 and 3 finals games last year.

All of those times he shot well over his career/season 3 point average (Spurs going under screens all last finals). The Heat won all four of those games too.

Yeah the Spurs sort of dared him to shoot last year. They were pressuring him hard the other night instead.

I like the defensive switch, but if it's Diaw then Lebron will run right past him. Leonard, I think, can still force him into contested jumpers.

Yeah they really have to keep Kawhi out of foul trouble tonight if they wan't to keep playing him that way.

Damn but it isnt as bad as people think.

I think the Finals are coming back to the Phone Booth.

Game 4 is the key in my humble opinion. Coming back from 3-1 is near impossible.

Heat steal home court. Spurs can hang it up.

Agree. SA shot themselves in the foot on offense down the stretch time and again.

Gotta split in MIA. Would love to get game 3 to put the pressure back on the heat.
