That would be awesome. Though I feel the result would not be to my liking.

Man, I miss those classic Mavs/Spurs playoff battles.

Always fun at bars in Texas.

and it's NOWITZKI, dammit! subtle jab at my favorite German?!

Texas playoff battles are always fun We've had some real classics, like you said

Not really, was typing too fast and didn't proofread. My bad

I don't hate Dirk like I used to, say, 10 years ago.

Well I never hated the Spurs. How can you hate Popp, or Duncan for that matter?

I hated Spurs fans more than anything

Well it seemed most of the opposing fans' vitriol was usually directed at the Argentine Assassin, Manu Ginobili

But honestly, I just hated Dirk because he was good and I wanted him on my team. And it's not fair he releases the ball so high while FADING AWAY. Just rub it in, why don'tcha, big fella?

And I was a huge fan of Finley even while he was still a Mav

See, I was the same way with Mavs fans

Pretty sad how Memphis or Phoenix would be a 4 or 5 seed in the east

I think you mean the 3 seed.

Us or Phx would be the 3 seed in the East.

And we actually belong in the east.

Also the "surging bulls" per espn would not be in the playoffs in the west

Why do the Griz belong in the East? They moved from Vancouver and who would you move to replace them if they were in the East?

They belong in the West in my opinion. The Geography defined as the Mississippi River is not really a good one. They are on the river just like NOLA so IMO they are good where they are at. They moved from Vancouver, you can not forget that. The travel for Memphis is actually not bad.

It is just they are in a strong conference and people seem to like to complain they would be seed X if in this conference. I mean the same is heard every year. Would we have this conversation if they were still in Vancouver or say in Seattle?

I think the upsets of the playoffs this year is the Pacers going out in round 2. The owners of the Staples going out in round 2. The Spurs beating Miami in the Finals, although not an upset, but in ESPN fed hype it would be.

Also I heard a stat and it is astonishing. This is the first time ever that the C's, Knicks, and Subletters all have never been in the playoffs in the same year.

couldn't find an image url for this, but a picture of the list of espn blogs lists (in this order)
True hoop, heat index, stein line live, celtics, bulls, nets, knicks, mavs, lakers. the most recent post for the top 3 was this week. The rest not this month. Also no mention of spurs clinching home court seen on espn to this day.

Just for this award solely he deserves two game rest. As does Timmy, Frenchy, and KL2.

And in recent trade news the Baker's Man, Red Hot Shooter, and a lifetime supply of Taco Cabana tacos to be shipped to GSW for KT.

No baker's man sms. I still don't know what you don't see in him. trade big banger (sign and trade), red rocket (sign and trade), two big Lou's pizzas, and the rampage.

I am just not sold on him yet. I guess it is the fact when he was at St Mary's and in the Olympics he did not ever play big when he was needed. I like what he has done this year, but just worry about true crunch time.

ETA:

I think the scary part about it also is he allowed himself to balloon to look like a Sta Puft Marshmallow guy last year.
