It's more dangerous in a place like cstat. At least up here folks are used to it and ready for it. Roads and buildings and shite are built with the expectation that they'll be iced over a few times during the winter.

In TX, there is no infrastructure for dealing with it. Far more dangerous IMO.

That's the truth. Driving home was a nightmare. And that's before all of the water frozen on the cars themselves

What amazes me is how many folks actually buy in to the bs that TAMU has no talent. I mean, I know it's an Internet meme but I just assumed folks didn't take it seriously irl

I work with a guy from Kansas and he ran into a bunch of Aggie girls in town for the mizzou game last fall and he STILL has not shut up about how floored he was.

Dude, people here are stupid. I mean there was a poster going off on how we don't have any trees on campus, and one or two posters actually truly bought into that. Its amazing, I mean it really is.

when its all they've heard, they will eventually buy into it. That's why its funny to see people who have never been here go off about it against those of us who spent years here

There's 50,000 plus students. I would think that no matter how many hokie traditions we came up with, it's pretty clear it's just another big school at the end of the day.

But if you're stupid enough to believe otherwise, I am not above trolling along those lines until I am sufficiently amused

And that's what perplexes me. There are so many people who really think that way. Or they cant themselves seriously and go "id be really embarassed if we had yell leaders, etc". All you can do is laugh.
