Now this I can agree with, the corporatism discussion is a whole other bag of cats though.
There's definitely a lot of envy ITT though, and DCRebel can suck my dick.

Nothing is owed, deserved, or expected
Your life doesn't change by the man that's elected
If you're loved by someone you're never rejected
Decide what to be, and go be it

MIZ_COU you have once again proved the old axiom that stupid people attack personally rather than debate.
The rich give towards charity but liberals won't even give their time. They just bitch about the rich.

Again I ask, what are you basing this on? In my experience with non-profit charitable organizations, the ones putting in their time lean more liberal.

I didn't even have to pay tuition for undergrad or grad school. Yeah, I'm a good worker (not a particularly great one) and ambitious enough to succeed, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend that if I were born to a single mother in the Lower Ninth Ward my story would turn out just as well. I owe a lot of who I am to my family and my environment growing up, things which are entirely out of my control.
So you, as a trust fund baby, have no idea what it takes to come from nothing and build wealth. You're just a self righteous elitist hack who feels guilty about the silver spoon up his arse. Shut the frick up.

I wasn't born into poverty, but when my parents couldn't pay for college I joined the damn army and made it out of school with less than $25,000 in debt, which is already paid off. There are ways to get an education if you can't afford it, all you have to do is want it badly enough.

I am a little. It's frustrating to me when I read the negative garbage from guys like DC, when I personally have gone from being literally homeless to where I am now. I've told my rags to riches story before on here, so I won't bother posting it again.
Hard work, persistence, and frugality have produced exponentially more millionaires and billionaires than "luck" has.

You can feel free to link your rags to riches story. I am not going through your post history to find it.

I'd hope to raise kids better than that, and recreate myself in them and with their advantages they turn my family into American royalty

I'm not not arguing that, but at the same time you can't not notice that financial industry skims billions and then buys congressmen to make sure they can skim more and get bailouts, or CEO's that get 8 figure parachutes while their companies tank.
