We don't have Ikea here.

Where am I supposed to fulfill my need for cool stuff in boxes?

I recently read where the opening was pushed back and the merchants in the area were anxiously awaiting its opening hoping that it would revitalize things in the area

Yeah I feel like it has been delayed multiple times so far, but construction is finally under way.

The one in Memphis is terrible. It is in a terrible part of town in the middle of no where.

Well, I was born and raised here, so I may be a bit biased.

A born and raised Georgia fan here in Springfield? How in the world does that happen?

Spent my 20's in Georgia and fell in love. Right now, Missouri is the best place for me to raise my kids, near my parents and my late husband's parents. May move back to ATL, just have to see how things play out.

I live in Springfield and travel extensively. I can tell you with certainty that the Memphis Bass Pro won't compare to the one in Springfield, especially since there is massive construction yet to be finished on the already massive Springfield campus.

Plus, 40 minutes south we have Big Cedar Lodge, the best resort in the midwest, no debate.

Springfield wins.

That's funny because it's so similar to my story. I moved to Atlanta from Arkansas in my 20's with my now wife, we moved back here to Springfield a couple of years ago to be closer to her parents to start a family and are contemplating moving back to Atlanta one day down the road. Small world.

You're closer to Branson. Memphis wins by default.

Trust me when I tell you that Johnny Morris will have zero problem remodeling something this massive in scope.

If you don't believe me, just come to Springfield and see what they are currently building and then go stay at Big Cedar Lodge.

It's more the city government side that has caused the delay. That and they thought the Pyramid was sinking.

Yeah it's right off Macon . It makes absolutely no sense for it to be there. Throw in that it's terribly tiny compared to others and it's just an eye sore.

What side of the Pyramid will the logo be on? I really don't want to have to look at at it every time I look out my window.

You must be fricking trolling because Branson (Big Cedar Lodge/Table Rock Lake) is incredible and Memphis is a giant shithole.

Everyone, Vladigator is dumb.
