If you liked X-Files or Stephen King novels, you'll most likely like this show. Set in 1980's rural Indiana it's a throwback to the 80's series to horror-drama/suspense/a lil bit a gore.
I don't think Winona Ryder ages, she may be a vampire, IRL.
David Harbour (one of those guys you recognize form TV and movies but probably don't know his name, is in this too.)
Private Joker, aka Matthew Modine, from Full Metal Jacket, is in it too....workin for the gov't again.
I'm 6 episodes in and I like it. Good cliffhangers in b/w episodes. Acting is pretty good, CGI is good, music is ok. Story is very entertaining though.

Literally 4 threads down or TV/movie board

There's a thread about best Netflix series (this one just started, so people have probably not posted about it yet) and the Movie/TV Board belongs to Tigerdroppings.com not SECRant.com. I don't think this is going to hurt anyone.
And to the OP, it's on my list to watch. I've heard good things and I'm hoping it's another solid Netflix original.

I loved The X-Files, will probably give this a try sometime this week when I get some free time.

3 episodes in and love it so far.
Winona Ryder has definitely aged though. Aged very well, but definitely aged.

4 episodes down and it is awesome.
We are watching it with our boys (10 and 11) and they love it too.
Sucks it is only 8 episodes.
