I agree. In my neighborhood just the ticket costs like $14 and that doesn't include concessions. I can go see a Braves game for cheaper....

They're about the same here. It's a $40+ trip. I'd rather go to dinner or the bar.

I can't wait for next year's (or the next might not come out this next year) Oscar Sweep movie

Biopic of the guy at the Atlanta Olympics who saved a bunch of people then was named the #1 suspect by Police, so far I've read Jonah Hill, Brad Pitt and Leo are all in it

Intredasting, and I'll watch it, but I probably won't pay to do so.

I really just don't enjoy movie theaters, even though my neighborhood theater is probably the nicest in Atlanta.

I hate people...

I like going to the movies. Just enjoy the experience of watching stuff on the big screen for some reason. Always a fun date night for kbar and I, too.

Depends on the theater, though. The one outside the base in Oklahoma was literally a shitty warehouse, so we didn't go there often. The one here in Warrensburg is nice, though, and rarely crowded.

I don't think you can go wrong with either (to me though, the first just has more of a rant feel to it).

Not a fan. I'll eat them, but I don't get the hype.

You get to be near planes though. Yours isn't typical.
