Kinda yeah. Just talkes about the media, their responsibility, have covered Emit Till, Military Technofetishism, Jena 6, Advertising, How to evaluate, and what is credible. This chapter is on Motivational Appeals. Emotions, needs, values, nature of motivational appeals; humor, puns, satire, etc. Instrumental and Terminal values & media.

The obsession of military technology & wars. How the media used it, propaganda for war/political motivation. Like recruiting commercials of how bad arse our military is. Our desire for bigger and baddder technology.
Also discussed invasion of Iraq and sadam Statue being publicity stunt. How we sell our wars and how the media shows bombs and neutralizes wars/conflicts. For example, OIF invasion had predesigned locations for media advantage.
It's interesting being a hardheaded Jarhead and learning this stuff.
