Distance/course/hole

411yds/Lakewood/#15

350+ on the old Holiday Inn University course in Olive Branch, MS back in the 80s. I hit it perfect on the screws with everything I had on 15 I think it was ... par 5. I eagled the hole with my second shot, a 3 iron from 210 out that left me a two foot putt.

Wide open course. Used to play it all the time. Wonder if that course is still there?

I drilled a line drive 240-250 and it bounced off the cart path and rolled up on the green on a 425 yard par 4. So I guess a 400+ yard drive. I typically drive in the 240 range.

I would say I'm pretty consistent in the 250-275 range and occasionally roll one in the 300 range. Keeping it in the fairway is far more important to me than happy gilmore'ing the ball.

Not sure. Back when I played regularly I was pretty consistently in the 280-300 yard range.

I used to be able to hit my 2 iron around 250-260 off a tee.

380

It was on a par 5 with a highly elevated tee box, and hit a cart path and stayed on the cart path for 3 bounces. Pure luck.

I drove the entire course once. From the first tee to the last hole.

Only got out to hit the ball every once in a while.

I actually pretty similar except I'm not a good driver of the ball. I can hit it a long way when I want to but don't keep it in play enough to give up a 2 to 4 iron off the tee. I hit a 2 iron around the 250 mark, 3 iron around 235ish and a 4 iron around 215ish off the tee but can hit the fairway 9 out of 10 with them.

Longest drive I have hit in a round would be pushing the 400 range on a long drive hole of a tournament. I took it down the hard pan edge and hit it about head high and rocketed, probably flew 200 and rolled another 200ish.

No idea but I can touch close to 200 fairly easily with a 7 iron off a tee

About 425; desert course in AZ. Ended up in a greenside bunker. A lot of luck for it to end up there.

Very possible it hit the cart path but no scuff marks on the ball. Hit one 375 the week before on the same hole, right down the middle. Both with the wind, of course.

Not very far. I probably couldn't find it in the woods.

Pointless post, because most golfers longest will be some freak occurrence that did not help them on the hole and had some sort of assistance(weather, cart path, etc.)

Bubba Watson averages 311 yards on his drive right now and he is one of the long hitters.

How did you muscle it 100 yards further than him .

BTW, my longest is about .25 miles. I hooked a drive into a nearby rode at a course in Irving, TX. The road was down hill. I found my ball on the next hole, so I am calling it a legit drive

Now I know you're lying. God can't even hit a 2 iron.

Best Drive: 330 on par 5, had a long 8 iron to the green. First Eagle I ever made.

~335 - Country Club of Mobile - Hole 15.

I smashed it right down the middle, but it went into the water at the bottom of the hill. Never thought that I would be in danger of putting it in the water 330 yards away. My typical drive is ~270.
