Do you seriously think "Latino gang members" came here legally? Don't be naive.
Hell yes. Lots of US born Latinos. Southern California is full of chicanos born here. Its not all illegals.

Even though Nola doesn't have traditional gangs, the local boys ran those Salvadorans out of town.
Maybe your local baws can teach our LE a thing or 2 about running these assholes out of the country

You and the Washington fan are missing the point or trying to spin the issue, which (once again) is that those black residents have a right to live there.
Maybe it makes you guys feel better that the latino gang bangers may have been born here. You are very naive, though, if you don't realize that it is every likely that even if that is so, their parents were probably not legal and came here not primarily to work, but because of all the free stuff, and California has more of that free stuff than about any state in the nation. I know that to be so because my freeloading nephew is there getting free room and board, free ebt, even free pot because he is slightly bi-polar. At least, though, he's a US citizen, as were his parents and the rest of his family that have been funding the social system all our lives. Unlike................
So your son is an American citizen. What does that mean to you?" Pitts asked.
"I am very glad that he was born. That's why I came here - so my children, my husband and I could have a better life," she said through a translator.
Back in December, when she was six months pregnant, Fabiola, her husband and their two daughters - ages 4 and 11 - crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico into the U.S.
Once on the other side of the river they walked for two hours in search of a better life and free medical care for their unborn child.
"Do many women in Mexico make the choice to have their children in the United States?" Pitts asked.
"Yes," she said through a translator. "I know people who have done that. Things are much better here in the U.S. because they help children so much more."
It's a "better" life ... that American taxpayers help pay for.
Take healthcare for example -- an estimated $1.1 billion per year for undocumented men, women and children, according to the Rand Corporation. (and this was 2008)
