Not impossible, but I think there would be at least some kind of oral history passed down by the remnants left behind here on Earth. Maybe there are some cultures that have stories like that that I'm just not aware of

No, way too much time to pass for that to have happened. If every human disappeared today then 10,000,000 years from now there would be no trace of us left and there would have been enough time for another species to evolve and take our place

Well yeah, if every human disappeared there obviously wouldn't be any oral history passed down, but what I was responding to said there were some humans left here on Earth

Who said our predecessor or successor civilization was or will be human?

And even if humans did survive an amount of time long enough for any physical sign of them to vanish, then there's pretty much zero chance an oral history would survive. I mean we're talking about tens of thousands to millions of years here with a very small population of spread out hunters and gatherers that wouldn't have much in the way of organized language, certainly not one consistent from group to group.

I’ve heard this before, also that Saved by the Bell was all a dream

That's fine, just so long as Baywatch fits into this timeline theory somehow.

The elder race of man will return and take down the Solar Federation in the year 2112. It has been foretold.
