My husband came close to pulling the trigger (excuse the pun) on a similar rifle. He wants a home defense weapon that can also be used for deer hunting. The 5.45x39 caliber has limited range but the bullet is heavy enough for deer out to about 100 yards which plenty for most of the places we hunt in Georgia.
