A preacher has to open himself up to the whole community. A predatory homosexual could take advantage of that. Preaching heavily against homosexuality could be considered a defense mechanism.
Prostitutes take their hits in the churches as well. Sex can be a very dangerous thing. It's something that is not allowed to be trivial. Especially to a preacher or pastor who talks with victims everyday.

A predatory homosexual? What exactly do you think gay people do with their spare time? That actually could apply to anybody in the church. Not just homosexuals. Why would the pastor need to defend himself against only homosexuals?
On top of that, how is saying that homosexuals are going to spend an eternity burning in hell because of something that wasn't their choice a defense mechanism?

The battle between gay men and the church is well documented.
I would say that predatory homosexuals are THE most dangerous when it comes to sex crimes. People will rally around a female victim when she's ready to face the world again. For a young man it is a dark secret that when fully faced is still faced in the dark. And mostly with other men.

Then you should understand why it's a bad talking point. You more than anyone since your sexual orientation means you're probably promiscuous. I'd imagine the topic is a hindrance when you're trying to bag that hot lass.

Not at all promiscuous. Sexual orientation doesnt make you more or less promiscuous. It just means I'm attracted to both men and women. I have dated both and I can count them on one hand. That's a stereotype. A poor one at that.
