Sms I come home tonight am I'm told that I need to go to HEB cause my parents, her parents and two younger bros, and my sister and her fiance are all coming over to our place on Saturday. It was right then that I realized that I am in control on like maybe 20% of my life and she controls like 80

Mama controls everything when we get along. When we don’t it’s me using the space issue card she used to play
It took me years to learn how to use that card. It’s like a magic card. But play it too much you get space that never gets closed

Just a piece of advice take it if you want it
But if mama says something (even if it’s 10000% wrong or already happened) just nod your head in agreement and hope like hell she doesn’t keep giving directions or asking questions.
The moment I knew I was not my own man was while she was pregnant and she and my mother started making plans about how I was going make sure I was going to do the night shift of feedings and things
But I really knew I was done when mama was pregnant and she made me drive 50 fricking miles for a 7up with shaved ice. I could have went to a place right outside of town but no it had to be from a specific place.
