It's been a rough couple days, to be honest. Military keeps jacking around with my paycheck. Not cool

Just sucks because we're living well below our means trying to save $$$ and still getting screwed over. And I hate not having extra fun money to buy football tickets and birthday presents and the like.

Struggling, but we'll make it.

That's fricking retarded. How much longer are you stuck working for the air force. You're air force right?

Eta: you guys gonna make it to a game this year?

Yeah. She's contracted through 2016, and I'm through early 2017.

Actively looking for landing spots outside of the armed forces though. Proud to serve, but my family comes first. Tired of getting dicked over and getting paid shite for it. Enough is enough--ready to be a civilian again as soon as Uncle Sam lets us go.

Hoping to make the Mizzou and Arky games this year. Trip back to Aggieland definitely seems out at this point

Which sucks because my little bro is getting his Aggie ring this fall. Was hoping to make it down there for ring day/dunk at least.

Honestly, anything that'll let us work 9-5, get paid like college educated people, and raise a family.

Looking at USAA right now mainly because they're headquartered in San Antonio. We'd like to get back to Texas somehow.

F-ville's about a 3.5/4 hr drive from my house. Wanting to go for the same reasons--doubt I'll make it to Jerryworld the next couple years.

He's excited to be almost done. Crazy to me how fast his college time has gone.

Its crazy how fast my time has gone to. I'm already a junior

with arky, I wanted to make our last foreseeable trip. Should be fun. That and one of our friends has friends up at UA so it will be fun no matter what happens

Do you make a considerable amount more at the USAA than what you do now?

Sounds like a good time!

Waco was my last college trip. Went with my brother, saw some old friends from when we lived there, then watched A&M come back and kick the crap out of the bears in their own stadium. It was glorious

It would be comparable pay at first, but easier to climb the corporate ladder and less ancillary bullshite that the military likes to throw at you.

Plus, USAA is very veteran-friendly in their hiring practices.

Kyle Field North!

It got so bad that game that RG3 was having to call timeouts because he couldn't hear. shite was crazy.

And the FTAB was stepping all over the toes of whatever the frick their band is called. Every time they started something up, the Aggie Band shut 'em down.

Cubbies were pizzed. Lulz were had.

She wants to get out ASAP. It's weird cuz she's done a 180 since she was in the Corps, but active duty is a LOT different than training. She can handle it just fine professionally, but she doesn't want to do 20 years of this.
