Most public schools have Winter break now. It’s weird

Why? How many breaks do you need? Don’t y’all already get a spring break?

We got Thanksgiving (began Wednesday at noon), Christmas and Spring Break/Easter.
Spoiled brats you are.

When did they change it?
What I got was Labour and Memorial, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. Also had a nice feature: built in snow days. If you didn't use snow days during the winter (you often didn't because snow is an annoyance not a deterrent) you got a few days off in the spring, spaced out a bit, typically a Friday.
Was great.
But the fugg? Winter break? Why you need time off in February? It a Queer-round school thing

I’d rather have rather have fall break than winter break.
3 1/2 straight months

Don't be a pussy. You don't wanna go you skip/show up late. School approved days off are for the weak

So you’re saying I should go to school on days I don’t have schools?
Posted on 2/13/20 at 5:51 pm to diddlydawg7
No I'm saying if you don't wanna go, skip or find other means
my senior year, due to pursuing technical rather than academic honors, most days there was 2 or 3 hours I wasn't in class. Was driving to another school for a career program , and when I drove back, even though you weren't supposed to I'd stop and get lunch.
Also had a free slot at the end of the day which meant I could leave early
Had very few classes and it was awesome

I was just saying, if I had to choose, I’d rather have Fall than Winter break.
We’ve only been back 4 or 5 weeks.

I skipped class more my senior year more than I was in class. I miss those days.

Technically, the only class I need to take next year to graduate is British Literature.
I’ll probably take 3-4 though.
BC Calc
Brit Lit
AP Spanish
Maybe another science
