The thing that gets people so worked up is they try to convince people to change their minds. Everyone has their opinion set.

It takes something drastic for real opinions and beliefs to be changed. I voice my opinion in these threads but I rarely get worked up trying to convince someone something.

I love arguing. Always have. I'll play devil's advocate in a heartbeat and argue a side I don't even agree with just for the sake of arguing. That said, I don't argue abortion. One of the few topics I'll leave completely alone. I believe one way, and no one is going to change that. On the flip side, I'm not going to change anyone else's mind either.

Don't put your faith in people to easily... There are some easily convinceable people these days. Esspecially the "lamb" types that like to follow the herd.

If you made a very convincing argument about why Von Miller was as good as Rolando McClain? Sure I might move my opinion a little if it was obvious I was off on my original opinion. When it comes to an ethical or moral issue? Hell no. By the time most people are 16 or so they've more or less set their minds on a certain way of thinking about those issues.

Ain't that the damn truth

I just put out my opinion and back my shite up as best as I can. If people agree, great. If not, it's not gonna affect the side upon which I butter my bread
