It's a rigid structure enforced quickly with no recourse or second chances. There have a hundred different little rules that have to be followed as far as speech goes.
One of the most bizarre is that if you mention your post count, they reset your post count back to zero.
That one is even encoded in the guidelines.

During the time that I posted on tidefans, I saw individuals banned for:
Saying that Nussmeier was very overrated as an OC
Expressing that perhaps Saban had been batting around the idea of taking the Texas job given how the team's productivity was waning towards the end of the 2013 season
Saying "what the hell was that?" after several missed tackles by the Bama defense. That person was banned for two reasons. "Cussing" and putting down the players performances
Asking a mod why it was okay for them to post something as fact that they could not back up, when it would get anyone else banned
Questioning Earle's "insider connections" to the program
Posting something that isn't on the level of a 10 year old, since Staci's 10 year old daughter read that forum. She reminded the board of that every fricking day. And what's funnier, she is STILL telling everyone that her 10 year old daughter reads that forum. Has that damn kid not aged in the last decade?

I would like a discount at some point
30K posts and I know I spend too much time here but it is the only board I really post on since there is no similar board for but still, lots of burned time especially as it is mostly tRant, SEC OT, and OT Lounge (my guilty pleasure).
ACC Rant, probably be perma banned inside a week tho
B1G Rant, probably be perma banned in minutes
B12 Rant, banned instantly if Utx mods, but might survive if not
PAC Rant, probably last especially if they had a Particle Light Physics Board.
IVY Rant, most would be OK unless Yale had the mod power and I went all S&B
Nerdy Nine Rant, "wait till Otis sees us, he loves us"
AAC Rant, Boneyard mods would be instant perm but could hang with the rest
