I just don't get the point of paying for some nasty bitch. You can just as easily go to a club/bar and find the overly drunk female that will give it up for free and might be a little less hooker'ish.

I learned today that Robert Pattinson played Cedric Diggory. I had seen Goblet of Fire several times, but had no idea

Drove eight hours today, then went to mother's day dinner with my sister and her family, and then rode around for a few hours with a buddy that goes to Alabama. Good times.

I've been house shopping with the missus in Tuscaloosa. It's such a pain. Actually it's a roller coaster.

Yeah Tuscaloosa kind of sucks. And that's not me being an Auburn fan. I've had some awesome times in TT, but I would never want to live there.

That's not what I meant. Tuscaloosa's a good city. In fact that's why its a pain. Theres so many upper middle class families and subdivisions, its a total sellers market.

I definitely feel you on that. Its awesome for school but if you take UA out of TTown, its just another town. I am so ready to get the frick out of here.

69 south near the river or Hillcrest schools

Cottondale

Places we've looked at and ruled out: near Bryant high PFF buttermilk ( too pricey), Arcadia drive (nice houses but Alberta city, no thanks), really northern (lake Lurleen, etc) parts of northport, (too far)

Auburn is just another small town in Alabama if you take out the University. The same could be said for the towns of many large schools.

Nice area. Good luck house hunting, my sister and brother in law are going through it right now and they arent having much luck.

And Sammy I get what youre saying, but Tuscaloosa thrives so much off of UA and its great, I love TTown and I love UA, but there just isn't anything here for me now that I'm done and I'm wanting a change and something bigger. I'm actually hoping to move to Mobile or Pensacola.

T-town is not a pure college town like auburn or oxford. Its a city in its own right, though probably a shitty one without the school

Mobile is a very underrated town. I'm a fisheries major more than likely going into marine research, so I'll probably end up on the coast myself.

Tuscaloosa would be horrible without the school. It would just be another low class outpost in Alabama near the border of Mississippi. And Auburn would be the same except on he border of Georgia without AU.

Yep. It sucks. You could take a house located just about anywhere else in the state, put it within 10 miles of Tuscaloosa and it will cost twice as much. Its absolutely insane the market here.
