I agree with the entirety of the OP and tbh I do not only think, but believe I'm a better person than people who do smoke. Nastiest people in the world to be honest.

Really pissed me off when I'm frigid.g down the road, get behind someone that's smoking, and the smoke gets sucked through my vents.

What would this world be like if people didn't give a rat's arse about what others did, wore, or bought? I used to smoke but quit, and i couldn't care less about whether other people smoked or not. If you are smoking in a entrance way you are being rude to people coming in and out, and if you stalking people that smoke, to a smoking area, just to give them a what for about themselves, then YOU are what is wrong with this world.
people commit suicide everyday, some just prefer to do it over 50 years or so. If smokers are not in your personal space you have no argument about their habits.

Smoking is disgusting and thank God the world has woken up and it is banned in food places. Smokers are pariahs in 2013.

Federal and State governments collect Billions of dollars in excise taxes on tobacco. They collect billions more in sales tax, corporate tax, and income tax. You may not like people who smoke, but they keep America running, and coughing. So suck a dick.

As for the OP:
I smoke, and need to quit. Granted, I don't smoke in my house, outside building entrances, or places that are smoke free. If there's no ashtray outside, I will step on it, and then throw it in a trash can. Littering is bad. Also, if there's a non-smoker in my car, I ask if I can smoke, even through we're in my car. I'm a polite smoker dammit.
