The claim is that WE killed hundreds of thousands. I don't see that claim anywhere, in any article. Including the link you provided.
In any case, they're heatherns. The natural resources have more value than their lives lived in squalor and filth. There wasn't peace before we were there and there won't be peace after we are there. May as well benefit from our time there in the meantime.

Christians say shite like this all the time but like to say that Atheists have lesser morals. My moral compass tells me that killing innocent people and pillaging their land is wrong as frick.

The world needs a cleansing now and again. Being a Christian doesn't mean you're perfect, btw. Everyone's a sinner. And as far as moral compasses, mine isn't based on individuals or any other persons. Putting trust in man will always disappoint one in the end.

Well I never made that claim, but I don't think whether we directly killed them or indirectly killed them makes much of a difference. Estimates are in the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi deaths as a result of the Iraqi War. But at least we spread some good ole American freedom and democracy over there, right?

You've already admitted, it could be less according to some estimates. And again, it includes terrorist attacks and insurgents. Those have been happening since before we were there.

It's been real, but it's time for my 4th of July weekend to start now.
