Fox Bros is awesome. I hand bottles of their sauce out left and right during Christmas.

Hm...in my experience usually when someone says they hate veggies they are talking about onions, tomatoes or mushrooms.

I assume they're talking about greens - lettuce, cucumbers, broccoli, etc

onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms? Literally none of those are vegetables

Onion is a vegetable. I am pretty sure mushroom is generally classified that way. Unless you are just saying edible fungi is a different thing. And a tomato is used as a vegetable in cooking I would say.

Hey now. We're in the south. Mac and Cheese is classified as a vegetable on many restaurant menus.

I would say that when it comes to cooking...all three would be considered vegetables.

But when it comes to biology, the onion is a root, the tomato is a fruit, and the mushroom is a fungus.

The Outback in Dothan has very good steak. Closer to Ruth's Chris than to Applebee's. Sorry.

So? This thread is about eating. They are eaten as vegetables. I am not sure if an onion is a true root vegetable.

My favorite vegetable is brown gravy.
