Your dumb assertions aside:

Do you think a white person from the projects would have the same opportunities as I would if I came from the middle class?

A Hispanic? An Asian? Anyone from poverty? I don't.

And secondly: I live in Mexico City, I've seen more poverty than most people have watched commercials about poverty during the late night.

I empathize

Not just with black people, but all people of poverty.

Get that through your thick skull.

I don't say that one impoverished white, Asian, Hispanic or Black is better than the other. I say that they all have an uphill struggle and all get arrested at higher rates than -any race in the middle class-.

Anytime you're surrounded by people who are like you (regardless of skin color) of course you will have advantages.

That's seldom the case for ALL whites.

Also because it needn't be said. If someone has the majority of money, they have the majority of the privilege.

Privilege is an individual facet, not a racial facet. As I said: A rich black man has just as much protection (if not more in light of certain racist comments weighed against homophobic ones) as a rich white man.

A poor white man is going to have just as hard of a time as a poor black man. Those who don't have will suffer, those who do will not.

The majority might be white, but white privilege only trivializes the working class -- it does nothing to those who actually have everything and is not shared between the classes at all.

So glad I stayed out of this thread.
