Was a sophomore when Tim was a senior. Like you said, they had them on the ropes and the buckets didn't fall.
Tim was cool but you could tell he was riding his highlight status because he was cousins with Allen Iverson lol.
It STILL pisses me off about the covid year. ETSU was actually one of the better squads in the nation and of course they had to cancel the tournament. I have it posted on my instagram and the team shared it lol
Fun facts: ETSU is the only university that gives degrees in Storytelling and Bluegrass music. Parents' good friend used to run that department for the longest time.
ETSU is actually a pretty cool/niche school. The medical school is pretty damn good considering its base/reach.
either way, GO BUCS

But back in the day they had some 5'8" basketball dude named Mister Jennings who damn near took down one of the best Oklahoma teams in OU's history by himself.
I was there for that one, along with the takedown of Arizona in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 90-91. Keith Jennings, Major Geer, Rodney English, Calvin Talford, Jerry Pelphrey. I loved watching those guys play. Jennings went on to play for Golden State for a few years.

I was in HS in the early 90's living in Kingsport but going to school at Cental and went to several ETSU games Mister Jenning's Jr and Senior year. I forgot all about him until your post. Brings back a lot of memories.

Came here to ask – how in the frick does this thread have 30 posts – but as soon as I saw SoG I realized it must've come from tRant.
We would've at best only scored Temu SoG up in here: semi-retarded SoJ.
