Lebron likely isn't top 10 today, he needs more time. He can easily get there, but he's not there yet.

I agree that Jordan was great. But he is RETIRED! James will make his mark in the NBA. Like TupeloReb said, we'll compare the two when he retires also. But for right NOW, James is the greatest player! Plain and simple.

I don't know if it's been said before in this thread but how the frick old are you? 6? He retired in '03. I remember watching him play and I'm only 20.

Guess who else is retired? Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and so on. Being retired doesn't mean dick.

You're almost there. For now, Jordan is the better player. Lebron could surpass him and that's a very big could but until he retires it won't be a fair comparison
