However, like the movie has or does anyone have had or do have a horrible boss? One you always wanted to punch in the face? Lol. I work for one, however he is leaving in January. I've worked for this guy over five years and it's been hell. Thankfully he's leaving and I can't wait.

I understand unless you work for yourself you will have to work for someone and sometimes it will be working for someone you don't like. That's life. However, this guy is a douche. Like if there was a picture of douche bags he would be the guy. He tells everyone they are losers, doesn't care if you had a family death and doesn't want to you take time off for it. He laughs when you're family members die. Like seriously the world would be a better place without this guy. What's ironic is I can't fathom what it's going to be like after he leaves. It's weird because I know I should be happy and I will be but I feel like I'm winning for once. Anyway anyone else have a douche bag, world would be better lol without them kind of boss?

Yeah I have a boss that's a dick(just the right post I needed now). He is a stickler for being late. You could be like one minute late and he will write you up. I'd love to punch him in the face, but he's my sister's fiance so puts me between a rock and a hard place.

My sister knows I hate the guy but she wants me to want her happiness which I do, but she could do so much better. So she suggested me and him go out and get closer. So we do but he hits on all the waitresses. Granted he buys all the beer....but that's still fricked up. Unfortunately she's either going to find out the hard way...or I'm going to hurt him.

My immediate manager is great, not a micro manager and good to work with.

Our ED though frustrates me. He talks about how we need to save money, then we hear about him buying rugs and other ornaments for his office that cost thousands of dollars. He also plays favorites with employees, gives bonuses to some jsut for doing the work they are already paid to do.

Your boss is a jerk to you and calls you a loser and is banging your sister. Wow, that’s some serious alpha-ness.

My current boss is great, but my former boss was not. He is based out of our Corporate HQ in Charlotte. When Columbia was hit with the floods in 2015, I called him and told him there was no way that we could operate on a normal schedule the days immediately following --None of my employees could make it to the office, several were affected by flooding, none had power/water, and the whole city was pretty much shut down.

His first response to me was to mention that Charlotte barely got any rain, and he couldn't understand how it could possibly be that bad in Columbia. Didn't ask once about anyone's safety, etc. He and I never got back on the same page after that.

I've only had one really horrible boss. Work wise, he wasn't that bad, but he was just an awful human being. Constantly cheated on his wife with girls in the office or with vendors, drank at lunch every day and would come back to office in a bad mood, racist and sexist comments on the reg. He was the owner's nephew though and was untouchable. He got sued for sexual harassment once, and they just paid a settlement and moved on. For some reason he really liked me, even though I called him out on his comments and cheating all the time.

I only lasted about 5 or 6 months. He was crushed when I turned in my notice, and offered me a pretty significant raise to stay. Last I heard, he got some vendor pregnant, his wife finally left him, and he married and divorced the vendor all within about a year.
